Note: Induction cooking uses magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements.  Most of the heat will be retained inside of your cookware. Your cookware must be made of cast iron, steel, or magnetic stainless steel.  It will not heat copper, aluminum, or non-magnetic stainless steel. An easy test is to place a magnet on the bottom of your pan, if it sticks, this pan can be used.
